The building has a lot of history - a well-known doctor Andrius Domaševičius used to live here between the years 1910 to 1920. He established and operated a private clinic during this period.
Later (between 1920 to 1927) Jonas Basanavičius, first editor of the Lithuanuan newspaper "Aušra" resided in this house. He was also a signatory of the Act of Independence of Lithuania.
In these days the building is owned by the investment company "Braitin".
The building has two elements - the new part (1,637 sq. m.) which underwent routine repairs, and the old part (677 sq. m.) which underwent maintenance work, restored walls, and floors.
To preserve the authenticity of the historical premises, the code of the cultural heritage was followed throughout the project.
