Livani Square lighting

The square opposite from the Livani Cultural Center has long been little used, consisting of flower beds. To revive the site, the municipality decided to create a small square where the central object would be a fountain.

task

The architect's vision was to use park-type luminaires with a classic design but not too old-fashioned - to fit the overall image of the city. Such projects fit very well with the luminaires of the Italian manufacturer Ghisamestieri, because they have both classical and modern solutions, which can be combined with different supports, including cast iron elements.

solution

For this project, Ghisamestieri ALD series luminaires with the direct mounting at the support point were selected. The ballasts were chosen from the IDRO series, with a height of 3.6m and cast-iron base elements. This composition blends unobtrusively and aesthetically into the overall image of the square. The luminaires and pillars are not bulky and high, so they do not distract from the central object - the fountain, but at the same time provide a sense of security and the desire to sit down on the benches during an evening stroll.
